Legal Education
P+P engages strongly in postgraduate legal and tax education. In co-operation with other law and tax firm, P+P and the University of Münster (and, in particular, P+P of counsel tax advisor Prof. Dieter Birk and Prof. Ingo Saenger have set up postgraduate study courses awarding Master of Laws (LL.M.) and Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degrees. In addition, P+P founding partner Reinhard Pöllath offers topics for doctoral thesis (www.jura.uni-muenster.de/st).
As of today, there are study courses for Mergers & Acquisitions, Taxation, Real Estate Law, and Private Wealth Management provided by JurGrad (www.jurgrad.de/) in co-operation with P+P. JurGrad also offers compact two-week introductory Summer Courses for Mergers & Acquisitions (www.summer-course-ma.de/) and Taxation
(www.summer-course-taxation.de/).
Furthermore, P+P professionals teach in the Private Equity compact study course at ebs European Business School (http://www.ebs-finanzakademie.de/) which awards the degree of a Private Equity Advisor (EBS/BAI).
Last, but not least, P+P is engaged in an international pilot projekt for ambitious and highly qualified students at the European Law School in Berlin (www.european-law-school.eu). Founded by leading universities in Europe - Humboldt University of Berlin, King's College in London and Université Paris - this course of study provides after five year an international degree as "European lawyer" corresponding to three national degrees ("LL.M."in Great Britain, "Master" in France and German state examination).

While many expercienced P+P professionals regularily teach these courses, P+P in particular welcomes students and graduates of these courses for internships, as summer associates, or for regular employment with P+P. You will also regularily find current younger P+P professionals attending these courses as students which P+P encourages by granting leave as part of the continuing internal professional education.
