The terraces around the top floor of Fünf Höfe, above Hypo-Kunsthalle (worth a visit!, tickets available), offer views of Frauen-, Theatiner- and Salvatorkirche and much of downtown Munich.

Munich airport
Take the S-Train S1 or S8 to Munich "Hauptbahnhof". Change to U5 (direction Ostbahnhof/Neuperlach), leave the train at "Odeonsplatz" and exit the station. Alternatively, you could take either S1 or S8 and exit at "Marienplatz".
