Confucius Munich, founded inter alia by P+P foundation ex oriente, again offers intensive language courses in Chinese, plus Tai Chi courses and courses especially dedicated to children. Moreover, the Confucian reading groups is held monthly in cooperation with the German Confucian society. During Carnival and Easter holidays, there are also dance and calligraphy workshops for children who have Munich holiday vouchers. .

The Max-Planck-Foundation (MPF), sponsored by P+P with office facilities and staff support, approved several research projects of the Max Planck Society from the proceeds of the previous year: €1.5m will go to SUNRISE Reflight, the largest solar telescope, that ever left the earth, moreover, the renovation of the Harnack house is donated with €5m. Another million will be provided for the world's largest database of biological data of schizophrenic patients; and hopefully their evaluation will revolutionize the schizophrenia research. Another project in the amount of approximately €1.2m concerns basic research in relation to investigation of extremely cold storage and cluster ions and nano-aggregates. Confuzius Class, supported by P+P foundation ex oriente and Haban, the Office for Chinese language internationally, will continue to offer Chinese language courses for beginners and advanced learners, from the beginning of September 2011. Confucius offers small courses in the heart of Munich (Fünf Höfe), intensive care, all teachers are native Chinese speakers. Furthermore, Confucius Munich is the official auditing body for the HSK test. .
