On January 29, 2015 the 9th Funds Forum Frankfurt will take place in cooperation with the Institute of Law and Finance. The topic will be :

"Loan Originating Funds": a regulatory "no go" in Germany?

The issuance of debt by funds is an important financing source for infrastructure, real estate and mid-market companies. The regulatory obstacles are substantial in Germany.

The 9th Funds Forum Frankfurt will deal with the regulatory environment of loan originating funds in Germany in comparison to the situation in other EU Member States. Panel members will discuss further developments in the EU and Germany.

We are happy that, among others, Mr. Uwe Wewel, Dr. Anahita Sahavi (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht, BaFin), Dr. Esther Wandel (Financial Conduct Authority, FCA) agreed to be part of the panel. In addition, panel members will include representatives of the German and foreign industry. Prof. Andreas Cahn of the Institute of Law and Finance will lead the discussion. The discussion will be held in German.
