POELLATH advises the founders and shareholders of Babtec on the investment by Paragon Partners

Munich-based private equity firm Paragon Partners (“Paragon”) is acquiring a stake in Babtec Informationssysteme GmbH (“Babtec”), a leading provider of quality management software in the DACH region. Founders and shareholders Michael Flunkert and Waios Kastanis will re-main invested in the company and continue to support its further development together with Paragon. Completion of the transaction remains subject to customary regulatory approvals.

Headquartered in Wuppertal, Germany, Babtec develops and markets software solutions for quality management and integrated management systems. The company’s platform enables customers to digitally manage quality-related processes across the entire value chain, rang-ing from quality planning and audit management to complaint handling and supplier collabora-tion. With more than 1,300 customers and around 230 employees across several European locations, Babtec is one of the leading providers in its market segment in the German-speaking region.
