POELLATH advises ABN AMRO Ventures on investment in Privitar

UK startup Privitar has concluded a US$80 million series C financing round, led by Warburg Pincus, with participation from Accel, Partech, IQ Capital, Salesforce Ventures, and ABN AMRO Ventures.

Founded in 2014 and based in London, Privitar's software helps companies embed privacy protection into their data projects and enables companies to extract value from data without compromising their customers' privacy and confidentiality. The platform is all about allowing companies to leverage large, sensitive data sets while adhering to regulations and ethical data principles.

ABN AMRO Ventures, based in Amsterdam, is the corporate ventures fund of ABN AMRO with EUR 100 million in assets under management, which invests primarily in growth capital (series A and beyond) in innovative technology companies in Europe, the United States and Israel with investments between EUR 2,5 and EUR 10 million.
