POELLATH advises HAMBURG TEAM on sale of the GEA Group headquarters in Düsseldorf

The Hamburg-based construction company AUG. PRIEN Bauunternehmung (“AUG. PRIEN”) has acquired the new headquarters of GEA Group AG (“GEA Group”) in Düsseldorf on behalf of a professional pension fund. The seller and project developer is HAMBURG TEAM Gesellschaft für Projektentwicklung mbH (“HAMBURG TEAM”) in a joint venture with Arrow Global Germany GmbH. 

Located at Ulmenstrasse 99, the building is part of the “maxfrei” neighborhood development, which combines residential, office, retail, and daycare facilities. GEA Group has already moved into the building, which was expanded according to their requirements and offers state-of-the-art working environments. The Cologne branch of AUG. PRIEN executed the project as the general contractor. It has contemporary architecture, flexible floor plans and sustainable construction and energy concepts. Thus, it meets both the demands of modern employers and the requirements of institutional investors in terms of long-term value stability.
