POELLATH advises management of Dürr Systems AG on sale of environmental technology business by Dürr AG to Stellex Capital Management
Dürr AG (“Dürr”, “the Group”), a leading global mechanical and plant engineering firm, has concluded an agreement with a subsidiary of the U.S. investment firm Stellex Capital Management LLC (“Stellex”) to sell its environmental technology business. This includes the exhaust air purification technology and sound insulation systems divisions, which form the Clean Technology Systems Environmental division within the Dürr Group. Within the scope of this transaction, Dürr will retain a stake of approximately 25% of the environmental technology business. The sale marks a further step in the Group’s strategic focus on automated production solutions. The transaction is still subject to the standard regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2025.
