POELLATH advises the management of Munich-based cybersecurity provider iC Consult on the investment by Bridgepoint

International financial investor Bridgepoint is acquiring a majority stake in the iC Consult Group, a leading provider of identity security services headquartered in Munich. The seller is global private equity investor Carlyle, which is fully divesting its shareholding.

Founded in 1997, iC Consult has developed into a globally active specialist for identity and access management solutions. The company employs more than 850 people across Europe, North America and Asia and serves international blue-chip clients, including from the financial services, industrial and public sectors. Founder and CEO Jürgen Biermann, together with the existing management team, will remain invested and continue to run the business operationally.
