POELLATH advises management of Transporeon GmbH on sale to Trimble

Industrial technology company Trimble has acquired Transporeon GmbH (“Transporeon”), a leading cloud-based platform for logistics and transportation management. The seller was HG Capital (“Hg”). The merger is still subject to customary regulatory approvals. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2023. Ulm-based Transporeon is a multinational logistics software company and operates the largest global freight network with more than 1,300 industrial shippers, over 100 major retailers and more than 145,000 forwarding agents and logistics service providers. The company has 18 offices worldwide with 1,400 employees in 27 countries and operates primarily in Europe and developed markets in the Americas and Asia.
