POELLATH advises shareholders of Hestia Instandsetzung Management GmbH on merger with ARTUS Bautrocknung- und Sanierungsgruppe

Hestia Instandsetzung Management GmbH (“Hestia”) has entered into a long-term partnership with ARTUS Bautrocknung- und Sanierungsgruppe (“ARTUS”), a fund managed by Castik Capital S.à.r.l. (“Castik”) as majority shareholder. Castik and ARTUS hereby acquire a majority stake from the former shareholders of Hestia. Hestia’s management team and its group companies will become shareholders in the merged group. The transaction is still subject to the approval of the relevant antitrust authorities. POELLATH provided comprehensive legal advice to the shareholders of Hestia within the context of the merger with ARTUS.

Munich-based Hestia Instandsetzung Management GmbH is a nationwide corporate group focusing on fire and water damage management. The company operates nine group companies in a total of 25 locations in Germany with more than 600 specialists from a wide range of trades.

ARTUS Bautrocknung- und Sanierungsgruppe is one of Germany’s leading damage restoration companies in the field of fire, water and natural disaster damages, as well as construction drying and winter construction heating. The company employs more than 400 people in 28 locations and offers complete solutions for the entire restoration process. The range of services includes initial measures and logging of damages, as well as cleaning, drying and full restoration.

In the future, the merged group will position itself as one of the nationwide market leaders in both large-scale and frequency sectors for fire and water damage, with around 35,000 projected damages per year and approximately 1,000 employees.
