POELLATH advises Tunstall Healthcare on the acquisition of BeWo Group

Tunstall Healthcare (“Tunstall”), a leading global provider of software solutions, services and technologies for the telecare and telehealth market, has expanded its German presence and service offering with the acquisition of BeWo Group (“BeWo”).

Together with BeWo, Tunstall will establish its first home emergency call center in Germany to support vulnerable people at home. The parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction. POELLATH provided comprehensive legal advice to Tunstall in connection with the transaction.

Tunstall Healthcare is a pioneer in global health and social welfare technology. The company was one of the first organizations to use technology to enable the elderly to call for help in emergencies and transmit alarm calls over the telephone network.
