P+P advises EQT with regard to the management participation on the acquisition of kfzteile24 GmbH

Through its mid-market fund, EQT acquired the majority stake in the Berlin-based e-commerce retailer kfzteile24 GmbH from founders Matthias Kiper and Torsten Hainke. The purchase price is confidential. The closing of the transaction is still subject to approval by the antitrust authorities.

kfzteile24 was founded in 2001 and, according to its own statement, is now one of Germany's leading online retailers of automotive parts and accessories. Three Berlin branches and one logistics location complement the existing online sales. kfzteile24 has about 500 employees and had a turnover of EUR 114 million in 2014.
