P+P advises investor MOMENI Digital Ventures GmbH on the financing round for Zenhomes

Founded in 2016, the startup Zenhomes raised almost USD 14.5 million in the course of the current financing round.

Zenhomes operates the portal Vermietet.de, which went online in March 2017 and currently has approx. 75,000 users and an inventory of over 220,000 properties.

In the course of the financing round, the company gained additional shareholders. In addition to the Hamburg-based real estate group MOMENI, the new investors also include the energy provider EWE and the investment firm Signa Innovations, which belongs to René Benko's holding company. The existing shareholders Axa and Swiss Life, as well as Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank, also participated in the financing round.

The platform Vermietet.de aims to cover all processes involved in real estate management and to digitalize all relevant processes – from advertising to applicant management, billing for ancillary expenses and calculation of yields, as well as hiring workmen. The company plans to use the new capital primarily to expand and internationalize the platform.

The Berlin-based venture capital experts Eva-Juliane Stark and Dr. Philip Schwarz van Berk advised the investor MOMENI Digital Ventures GmbH on all legal matters related to the financing round for Zenhomes.
