Ladies Day at P+P

P+P Ladies discuss with entrepreneuse from a business with a long tradition

P+P was able to recruit Andrea Prym-Bruck as a speaker for this year´s Ladies Day on August 31, 2011. For 30 years now, Andrea Prym-Bruck has accompanied Germany´s oldest family business "William Prym" which, amongst others, also produces the famous snap button. She has been a member of the advisory board and an associate of the company for many years. Today she works in the fields of mediation, consulting and design, and especially gives advice to family offices in situations of conflict. Furthermore, she actively supports the initiative "Frauen in die Aufsichtsräte (FidAR)" (="Women on Board").

For the P+P ladies, she talked about "The third way: conflict management and organizational consulting from a systemic point of view". By using different case studies from her own counseling experience, she vividly explained how she solves conflict situations in family offices with the help of the systemic approach.

Afterwards, on a nice summer evening, during a common dinner on the rooftop terrace in Munich, all female counsels from all P+P locations (Munich, Frankfurt a. M. and Berlin) had the chance to get to know more about the everyday life of the entrepreneuse and mother of four children.

"The P+P Ladies Day was a great event for me as a First Year. Ms Prym-Bruck provided us with an exciting insight into a consulting perspective that was completely new to me. I also appreciate the precious tips on personal conflict management", said Dr. Anna Franziska Kaßmann, counsel at P+P Munich since January 2011.

"It is great fun to discuss important topics from your everyday working life in a relaxed atmosphere and to get some food for thought from an experienced entrepreneuse", said Dr. Alice Broichmann, one of the initiators of the Ladies Day.

The Ladies Day has become a constant institution for several years now. For the P+P ladies it constitutes a platform to exchange personal news, to network, to discuss other professional or interdisciplinary topics and last but not least, to have some fun.
