POELLATH advises Waterland and the Chemservice Group on the acquisition of EBRC Consulting GmbH

The Chemservice Group (“Chemservice”), a portfolio company of Waterland Private Equity (“Waterland”) and an internationally active specialist for regulatory requirements in the chemical industry, has acquired EBRC Consulting GmbH (“EBRC”), a scientific provider of regulatory compliance and product safety services. With this transaction, Chemservice is strategically enhancing its service offering and further strengthening its market position as one of the leading companies in Europe.

This marks the first acquisition since Waterland’s investment in Chemservice in July 2025. Together, the partners are pursuing an international growth strategy that includes both organic growth and targeted acquisitions. Chemservice will continue to selectively evaluate further opportunities to expand its expertise.
