P+P advises Deutsche Leasing AG on acquisition of a stake in AKA Bank

Deutsche Leasing AG has made an agreement with Berliner Sparkasse on the acquisition of a stake in AKA Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH (AKA).

The objective of the Deutsche Leasing Group is to expand the ECA-supported (Export Credit Agency) business to an investment volume of between 1 and 10 million Euros and take it worldwide. The ECA offering primarily focuses on medium-sized business customers of the savings banks and Deutsche Leasing. They previously concluded a cooperation agreement to this effect with the 25 largest savings banks in 2019. Deutsche Leasing's official accession to the AKA consortium will take place within the framework of the rotating consortium meeting of the shareholder banks at the beginning of May 2020.
