P+P advises the shareholders of designaffairs group GmbH on sale to Accenture

The global service provider Accenture has acquired the design consulting agency designaffairs. Accenture wants to thereby strengthen its Industry X.0 division, in particular the development of production-ready, smart products and services. The former management of designaffairs will remain in their managing capacity.

designaffairs, founded in 1997, employs more than 100 people at its Munich headquarters, as well as in studios in Erlangen and Shanghai, China and in Portland, Oregon, USA. designaffairs’ services include industrial, material and user-interface design, user-centered innovation consulting, mechanical engineering and usability engineering expertise, development of prototypes, design research and brand strategy. designaffairs clients include many well-known large corporations. The design consultancy has received over 300 awards to date, including the renowned iF Design Award and the Red Dot Design Award.
