P+P advises ZEISS on the establishment of a German-American Smart Glasses joint venture with Deutsche Telekom

P+P advised ZEISS on the formation of a joint venture with Deutsche Telekom for the development of innovative smart glasses.

The company named tooz technologies is based in the US and Germany. Financed at 50% each, the company assumes strategic and operational responsibility for the further development of ZEISS optical technology and Telekom's technology in the areas of connectivity and uninterrupted application.

ZEISS is a global technology group in the optoelectronic and optoelectronic industry. In fiscal year 2016/17, the group generated sales of approx. EUR 5.3 billion with ca. 27,000 employees. With approx. 165 million mobile customers, 28.5 million fixed-line and 18.5 million broadband connections, Deutsche Telekom is one of the leading integrated telecommunications companies worldwide.
