P+P advises Zielpuls on sale of the company to Accenture

At the end of June 2019, the global service provider Accenture acquired the technology consultancy Zielpuls. Zielpuls will become part of the division Accenture Industry X.0, which supports companies in mastering the digital reinvention of the industry. The current management of Zielpuls will retain their management positions.

Zielpuls was founded in 2008 and now employs a team of approximately 190 experts in natural sciences, technology, engineering and mathematics. Zielpuls offers architecture, development, engineering and management services for complex digital products and services. The technology consultancy projects include, inter alia, the development of an automated parking system, the architecture for driver assistance systems, as well as the entire IT architecture for the operation of high-speed trains for a leading transportation company. In addition to its headquarters in Munich, Zielpuls has branches in Wolfsburg and Hannover, as well as Shanghai and Beijing.

Accenture is a leading global service provider with approximately 477,000 employees and customers in over 120 countries; it offers an extensive portfolio of services and solutions in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations. The acquisition will bolster the capability of Accenture Industry X.0 to develop intelligent products and services for companies in the automobile industry. At the same time, it will expand the offerings for customers in the medical technology, industrial equipment and high-tech sectors.
