POELLATH Frankfurt is moving: New location in the OpernTurm
POELLATH continues its growth course in Frankfurt. On March 9, 2026, the law firm will move into new premises in the OpernTurm – one of the city‘s most prestigious office buildings. Since 2016, POELLATH has been based at “An der Welle”. Demand for first-class advice – and with it the Frankfurt team – has grown significantly in recent years. The new location offers space for further development and modern forms of collaboration.
With this move, POELLATH is creating a new working and advisory environment that combines the highest standards of professionalism, service quality, and client proximity. POELLATH is thus investing specifically in the future of the location and in the quality of advice that clients have valued for many years.
The Frankfurt office brings together POELLATH‘s expertise in several core areas:
Corporate / M&A – including Finance and Antitrust Law
The corporate/M&A team led by POELLATH partners Dr. Eva Nase and Dr. Georg Greitemann advises on national and international transactions, stock corporation, limited liability company, industrial group company law and capital markets law, as well as compliance and governance issues. Close cooperation with local finance and antitrust specialists enables structured, fast, and tailor-made solutions for complex matters. Since 2025, Munich-based partner Dr. Nase has been expanding her team‘s presence in Frankfurt. One counsel and two associates now provide on-site support, strengthening the close cooperation with their Frankfurt colleagues.
Private Clients – Advice for High-Net-Worth Individuals and Family Offices
Under the leadership of partner Dr. Katharina Hemmen, POELLATH in Frankfurt has an experienced eight-member Private Clients team. Legal and tax advice covers asset structuring, national and international succession planning, foundation aspects, governance issues, and support for large family businesses and family offices. With strong teams in Berlin, Munich, and Frankfurt, POELLATH is one of the largest Private Clients units in the market.
Investment Funds & Investment Tax
The team led by Frankfurt partner Dr. Peter Bujotzek is part of one of the largest fund practices in Germany. Firm-wide, this area comprises around 50 specialized experts, including seven legal and tax professionals in Frankfurt. The team advises initiators and investors of private equity funds and global fund investments in the area of alternative investments.
