POELLATH update: Six new partner appointments and eleven new counsels elected

Berlin/Frankfurt/Munich - POELLATH has announced numerous appointments at both partner and counsel level. With André Fest (tax, Munich) and Dr. Tim Junginger (private equity/M&A, Munich), the partnership welcomes two professionals from within its own ranks to the equity partner circle. In addition, Dr. Robert Eberius and Dr. Andreas Gens (both private funds, Berlin), as well as Dr. Sebastian Löcherbach (private clients, Munich) and Sebastian Pasch (real estate, Berlin) will strengthen the ranks of associated partners.

André Fest is a new equity partner in the tax department at the Munich office. In his many years of experience, he has focused on providing comprehensive tax advice to national and international private equity funds. His advisory services also include standardizing and automating tax compliance processes and establishing tax compliance management systems.

Before joining POELLATH, André Fest worked both as a tax consultant in the Tax Financial Services department in Munich and London and as managing director/CFO funds at a German fund of funds manager. André Fest has been a tax consultant at POELLATH in Munich since 2019 and an associated partner since 2022.

Dr. Tim Junginger is a new equity partner in the M&A/private equity department at the Munich office. He advises on national and international M&A, private equity, growth and venture capital transactions and regularly advises on corporate restructuring. His clients include German and international private equity funds, medium-sized companies and their owners, financial and private investors.

With the appointment of Tim Junginger as partner, POELLATH continues the steady expansion of its transaction practice. The M&A/private equity/venture capital team currently comprises around 50 professionals across all offices.

Dr. Robert Eberius is a new associated partner in the private funds department at the Berlin office. Eberius has been with POELLATH since 2014, since 2020 as counsel. He focuses on fund structuring and regulatory advice to fund managers. He also advises investors on their investments in the field of alternative capital investments. In both areas, he has particular expertise in fund and investment-related ESG matters.

Dr. Andreas Gens is a new associated partner, also at the Berlin office. He has been part of the private funds practice group there since 2013. Gens advises national and international investors in private equity funds and other alternative capital investments on all fund-related legal, commercial and tax matters, with a focus on investment and general tax issues, as well as tax compliance.

Dr. Sebastian Löcherbach is a new associated partner in the private clients department at the Munich office. Since joining POELLATH in 2015, he has worked as a specialist tax lawyer providing comprehensive advice to wealthy private individuals, particularly family entrepreneurs and their often complex, international asset structures. Within the team, he integrates expertise in corporate, inheritance, family and tax law.

Sebastian Pasch is a new associated partner in the real estate practice at the Berlin office. He has been part of the POELLATH team since 2013 and advises on real estate transactions on the buyer and seller side, in particular on asset deals, share deals and portfolio transactions. He has particular expertise in the acquisition of properties and investment companies in the care sector and is also dedicated to providing ongoing advice to institutional investors on real estate asset management.
