The Munich-based private equity firm AUCTUS Capital Partners (“AUCTUS”) has acquired Rudolf Schweiger Abdichtung und Isolierbau GmbH & Co. KG (“Schweiger”) through its portfolio company UPFRONT GROUP. Schweiger is a specialized provider of complex flat roof solutions in Southern Germany.
UPFRONT GROUP and AUCTUS are jointly pursuing a long-term buy-and-build strategy in the fragmented building envelope market. The objective is to establish a leading, diversified platform for building envelope solutions in Germany, combining technical specialization with a scalable organizational structure, as well as sustainability and sophisticated design.
With the acquisition of Schweiger, UPFRONT GROUP expands its service portfolio to include a strategically important roofing capability while further strengthening its integrated coverage of the entire building envelope.
Rudolf Schweiger Abdichtung und Isolierbau GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Gräfelfing near Munich, has been established in the market for more than 50 years and covers key stages of the value chain. Its range of services includes waterproofing with bituminous membranes, green roofs and integrated photovoltaic solutions. In addition, Schweiger offers an in-house service portfolio comprising inspection, maintenance and repair services, enabling long-term customer relationships and recurring revenues. The company employs approximately 47 people.
